Motorhead Chicks get their fix!

Saturday was the
Sisters
"Glory Daze Car Show"
***
This post is really for my Dad.
He is a life long motorhead and so am I and my siblings.

Hi Daddy.....
Is this one kinda like yours???
My Dad built a T-bucket and is making the car show rounds in Arkansas.
He has several awards already!
Way to go Dad!!

This one was for sale...Fully restored inside and out.

If I had $25, ooo. laying around, it would have come home with me!

Can't you see me doing the grocery shopping in it?

Holly and I seemed to really like all the cars in this color family!

Sooooooo Cute!
That's two third generation Motorheads there!

Nothing like an old farm truck!

You could tell this guy was proud of his rig.

Sweet

Vrooom!!

LOVE this color too!

This one needed a Rebel flag on the roof!
(And Bo Duke behind the wheel!)

Yeah, Baby!

I could so see me cruising around in this one too!

Notice the name on the front....
I wonder if that is Carol waving to us?

Thh thhh thhh~ That's all folks!!
Are any of you other gal's out there
Motorheads too??

Hey Lilly Sue
Boy, these cars are great! My favorite one is the first little blue and white, too cute.
Our favorite restaurant "The Pony Corral" hosts vintage car days ever Sunday, a parade of cool cars are on display much like what you have here...looks like a great day!

Hi Lily Sue!
Great post. Thanks for the memories. I love car shows, especially the old ones. It is so hot out here tho, when they held the one last week, I just had to pass. It was 115 degrees and on the tar shopping malls, it would be to hot. I got to go to a car show anyway. Thanks again for sharing. Stop by and say hi. I am having a manic Monday. Country Hugs, Sherry

"Hey" LillySue! Darn, where's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?! Was his schedule overbooked?.. Couldn't he make it to the show?! I'm afraid I could not classify myself as a motorhead, but if I could pick which ONE car I would want to take for a spin, maybe have someone take my picture in this!.. I would say the yellow, 10th photo down! Nice and bright, and looks like FUN to me!! (0;

Hi Lilly Sue , I think I nneed that cool farm truck! Does it have AC? My first car was a 1969 Camaro - all the carry out boys at the local grocery store wanted to be the one to bag my groceries and take them out. :0) A Toyota 4 runner just doesn't get the same response! Sue

Looks like you had a great time. What a fantastic car show. It's been a while since I have been to one. The Hubs and I should put that on our list of things to do.
You reminded me of how fun they are to go, look, and dream.

Hi Lilly Sue! Thanks for coming by and visiting me. I love this post. I'm even going to show it to my DH who is a total motorhead! We are planning on building an auto shop for him on the property and then we will building the 53' Chevy pick-up I've always wanted! Have a fabulous week!

Oh how fun! I gotta say I'm not really into cars but when they're all decked out like these are...I can truly appreciate it. I LOVE that blue and white station wagon. :)

Love the car shows. If I had 25K lying around with nothing else to do with it I would be the aqua one too. It would make a great grocery-getter
lol

Here, here! I am a self-proclaimed motorhead. =D I can’t say it enough, but I am extremely mesmerized by cars. Seeing these in your photos just made me drool and fantasize about how I would drive each one of these around our town. I am quite interested with engines as well, that’s why I spend most of my Saturday mornings with cars in our garage.
