I'm Partial to Pink Prettiness!

Yep, It's true!
I have a lot of Pink and I like it that way! If I can't get it in pink, I can buy it and make it pink. That is what I did with this little bird house.
Click Photos To Make Larger!
I couldn't find very many pink cookbooks so I recovered some of my shabby old ones.

This cake carrier looked pretty bad when I bought it. I spray painted it pink and put the decal on it. I may list this in my Etsy shop (which I plan to open later this month) along with the little tea kettle down below.

A lot of my dishes are pink or have pink on them.
(Cherries too, gotta love 'em)

This tea kettle was white and had a yucky picture on it. Now it is pink and cute!
Make sure you visit all the other "Pink Saturday" folks!

Love that cake carrier!!! I do the same thing- rescue old metal and copper things that have seen better days and repaint!!! Most are in my 'land' shoppe, not etsy!!My color is green!!!!!!But I love the pink - and the decals make it extra special!!!

Ya gotta love spraypaint!!! I just repainted an old school chair and LOVE the way it turned out.

By the way, I was reading some older posts and was cracking up over the "long" hair saga! I am about to turn 40 and was so relieved to hear that the "have to go short at 40" rule has since been thrown out the window. I am now on a quest to grow some long hair! AND YOUR MOTHER looks fantastic with her makeover. Holy Cow...I can't believe it is the same woman! She looks totally youthful with her new do!

Anyway, Happy Pink Saturday,
Valerie

It's raining cats and dogs in Upper Michigan today with oodles of cold wind. Not very spring-like so traveling from blog to blog on Pink Saturday is really a treat for me today.

Thanks so much for sharing a little something of yourself today. I really need all the pink I can get with the weather we are having☺

I adore that little tea kettle with the birdies☺

Hoping this weekend is filled with the j♥y of being surrounded by those you love and those who love you.

Such cute pinkness! Love all your little goodies! I'm showing a fondness for pink these days with that baby girl about to arrive anytime now! And I love your mom's short "do"!! I've been short for years (hair and height!) and during the summer I go that short too! Wish I could do the long hair thing but it is way too hot here in Texas for me and long hair now! Years ago I did the big short hair thing...yeah it stood straight up on my head! LOL Thank goodness I grew out of that do!

I also caught your post about long hair.. which I LOVE!!! Thank you!! I wear my hair just below my shoulders, and have been told I'm getting too old for it. It makes me mad as... well.. VERY mad! It's MY hair and I'll wear it any way I WANT! Happy Pink Saturday, and hope you're enjoying your weekend! (0;
