Farm Chicks: Pink Edition!

Welcome back for
MORE FARM CHICKS!!
This cheerful bag was from the "Tarte" booth. Holly bought this precious mossy nest from "The King" of Tarte. He wrapped it up in paper and put it in the pink bag. Holly loves the bag almost as much as the nest!
Look at this frothy vintage crinoline Holly got

She bought this vintage hat also

Here is Lisa from "A Thing For Roses". She sold Holly her new crinoline. Lisa had an amazing booth. Her painted furniture was the loveliest I saw!! She also had the prettiest blog badge a dear friend had made for her.

Make sure you click on the picture so you can get a good view of
Lisa's goodies!

Here is Holly at another one of our favorite booths....
It was a PINK delight!

Shirley had everything arranged perfectly.
Make sure you pop in for a visit

Here is Amanda and Cindy Panagos at their wonderful Mother/Daughter booth called
"Happy Endings"

I bought this beautiful robin's egg blue teacup set at their booth. Doesn't it look nice sitting on my pink chest!

I bought this Heavenly scented soy candle from Amy at
It is in a sweet vintage sugar bowl. I can't believe I did not get a picture of her booth. It was one of my favorites!! I LOVE this candle!!

I also got these vintage cloth napkins at another booth. I don't remember which one, yikes!!

Here is another great spot...Don't you LOVE her apron!!

I showed the Chap's booth in another post but here is a couple more peeks!

Farm Chicks Too!

The "Barn House" Boys
Need I say more??

Love this!!
They were so nice to allow me to take some photos.
Thanks Guys!!

I hope we can make it to one of the "Barn People" shows!

I saw these canisters and really wanted them....sigh.
Don't remember which booth they were in.
Canisters are another one of my weaknesses.

Isn't this chair adorable!!
It is by "Chick Chairs"
The Gal was missing and her hubbs was working the booth. (Gee, I wonder if she was out shopping...Duh!) I asked if he was the "Rooster of Chick Chairs"? He said he guessed so. He agreed to being Hen Pecked, heehe!!

I could so have the robin's egg blue ones in my dining room....Hmmmm
Maybe I should get me some cans of spray paint!!

I caught Aunti Joy visiting the "Rain City Chicks". I think she spread "Joy" everywhere she went!!

This Gal was SOooo nice and had the greatest aprons. She is Arlene from
Her market bags are perfect!!
Gossamer had awesome crowns

Jacquie at "Twiggy 59" had a VERY fun booth!

More fun booths

This is the "Chaps" booth.
How cute are her pigtails??!
Luv um!

I wanted to bring some gerbera daisies home so bad but we agreed they would not make it thru the 7 hour drive in a warm car, sigh....

Make sure you pop in again Sat. for

The Farm Chicks Show Rocked!

So, if you were wondering if it was as fun as it looks like it was, yes...I mean YES!! it really was! Finding cool treasures was great, but meeting the wonderful people who created or discovered them was most definitely the BEST part. This is Farmer Julie, Me and Holly. Julie is such a gem...I loved visiting with her and her Mom. Her Mom had come over from Montana to hang out with her for the weekend. Wahoo for mother~daughter trips!! See all the pretty pottery in the booth behind us....I had a very difficult time picking one out since they were all so pretty!

This is the one I chose. Don't you love the little hobnails and the perfect sagey-aqua green color!! Make sure you make time to visit with Julie here at: farmerjulie.com

This is Me and Deb Kennedy of "Retreat Design" aka Kennedy Design. She was just one of the nicest people EVER! Her booth was amazing. ... Perhaps the decoupaged grand piano - turned bar had something to do with it, ha! We did not buy anything, but she gave US a gift.

All wrapped up in a little box. We put the box in our bag and saved it for a surprise. Holly opened it while we were waiting for our dinner at Marie Calendar's.

It held a precious little handmade nest and dried rose petals. So sweet.....Holly adores it! She is in a nest, moss, mushroom, fairy stage right now and she claimed it as hers, heehe! Thank you Deb! Make sure you visit here: retreatdesign.blogspot.com You will not be disappointed!

This is Me with Coleen of the blog "Coleen's Reflections"
We LOVED her booth! Holly was in mushroom-moss-fairy heaven!! She is a very sweet gal and also sells her creations in her Etsy shop under "Weefae".

One of Holly's favorites

I LOVED these blossoms. Check out her blog....Her photo's are SOoooo much better than mine!

This little fairy cone pocket I HAD to have. It is pure BLISS!

Me and Joy from "Aunties" She is just so much fun....Everyone who walked into her booth felt welcomed, I can promise you that!

Joy had lots of eye candy in her booth and I chose these vintage aqua Bingo cards and a flower wand. She has a blog I am sure you would enjoy...pop over to antiejoy.blogspot.com for a visit!!

Here is the "King of Tarte" and Holly. She had spotted a little mossy nest the day before and Cindy, "The Queen of Tarte", had told her she could have it for $6.00 By Sunday, Holly had decided she really NEEDED it and we went back for it. Thank goodness it was STILL there. I don't know why I love this photo so much, but I do.....Holly is my shy, quiet one away from the house and it was SOoo fun to see her out and about meeting folks!! She was so tickled when "The King" wrapped her nest in paper and put it in a pink bag with a lovely tag hanging by a silk ribbon. (Brilliant Cindy!!) I think she likes the bag as much as the nest. She said she will sit the bag on her dresser to remind her of our trip. Pop back to see said Pink bag on Pink Saturday, heehe!

You can visit "Tartes" blog site here at QueenofTarte.blogspot.com
Isn't the nest precious!

Another shot of Tarte's

Holly had me back at Lenette's "Garden Girl" booth MANY times. I imagine by the time FarmChicks was over, Lenette thought we were stockers!

She had so many things for a magical garden! If you are in her area, make sure you stop for a visit..... Garden Girl 25 N. Front St. Shop 2 Yakima, Washington

This is Debi of "Ormolulu". She is very sweet and was even willing to make me a deal on a dreamy pink blender. It was KILLING ME!!

I wanted the blender so bad, but already have three at home. Hubby would have strung me up.....Sadly, he does not understand the need for unique, vintage collectibles, sigh...... You can visit the beautiful Debi here at Ormolulu.blogspot.com

Beth makes Bea-U-ti-Ful jewelry!!

Isn't this piece just amazing!! LOVE IT!
Well,

to share with you from our

I will post more Friday and then...

Thank you for sharing in our trip.
Make sure you visit our new friends!

Farm Chicks: How Much Fun Can 2 Gal's Have In One Weekend??

WOW~ What a Weekend!!
I can't believe it is already over! We had sooo much fun. It was truly a bonding time for Holly and I. She had been stressed out with finals and tons of other homework, so this is just what she needed. We had a 7 hour drive both ways so it gave us lots of time for Mother/Daughter talks. I had gone to bed at 1am and got up at 4:30am to drive to Spokane, so by the time we got there I was pretty much a zombie......but a excited zombie, heehe!
We got to meet Teri and Serena.....I think I babbled on like an idiot (exhaustion seems to do that to me) . I knew they were so busy and I didn't want to intrude, but we did want to chance to say "Hey" and they were sweet about letting us take a photo. I am sure with all they had to do, they were as tired as we were!

They had this spot set up when you first walked in the door. There was a bunch of banners you could choose from to take your photo with.....What a great idea!!

These two shots are of the main corridor when you first come it. It was more open and spacious. You went into two other big rooms off either side of this main room. The booths were tight and close in the other rooms.

I did get lots of good shots of booths and new friends. I need a little time to edit and make sure I get the right info with each one. I will do another FarmChicks post on Wednesday including shots of the treasures I bought. I want to post my goodies with the pics of the booth we got them in. I will need more sleep to do a good job with that, heehe!! My daycare littles are here now and I need to go get out the playdoh or crayons. Pop in tomorrow for Health Tip Tuesday and then make sure to check out Wednesday's big FarmChick post. I can hardly wait to share all the fun. The best part of the whole thing was making so many new friends.
FarmChick Gal's are AWESOME!!
Blessings~LillySue
